But Devi was planning her own way and already decided what to do. She tells Mahi (from now onwards Munna will be referred to as Mahi, short form of Mahidhar Naidu) that she will go back and stay with his mother, looking after her and his father and serving them without letting them know that she is their daughter-in-law. Mahi liked the idea and also admired her humbleness and love for his parents. But he did not know how it can be possible and agrees on the condition that he will go to Vizag lonely only if his parents agree to keep her with them.
Devi had set all her plans and tells him not to worry. So after making many requests to his mother, Devi succeeds in getting an appointment to meet her. Shanti listens to Devi's problems while Devi narrates how her husband wants to leave all the crime world and become a good person by earning livelihood through sincere and hard work and how she will be a problem to him in searching his work and starting a fresh life as he would always be worried of her safety and care if she goes with him. Shanti agreed to her point of view and admired her care for her husband. But when Devi requests her to keep her with her in her house till his return, Shanti at first gets shocked as she did not know Devi except as Selva Swamy's niece and as Munna's wife. So she hesitates to agree. But Devi promises her that there will not be any problem to Shanti's family and further that she can not find any more secure place for her staying than DGP R.K.Naidu's house. She tells her that if she stayed in their house her husband will be relieved of her worries and can concentrate with more confidence on his career in becoming a good citizen. So Shanti agrees to her staying in her house and requests R.K.Naidu also to allow her stay with them for the good cause of making Munna a good citizen.
So the health service centre gets started by Mahi in that Araku village after informing Devi also. It is named as "Amma Health Service" as a dedication to his mother whom he loves so much. People flocked to the centre for treatment and get pleased with the care and love received by them in the centre. Gradually its fame spreads to surrounding villages also. Mahi keeps himself in background and do not go in front of media to keep his secrecy till his goal is attained.
One day, when Mahi was going to the centre from Vizag, he happens to see a girl lying on the road fully drunk. He wakes her up and enquires her identity. In the meantime her father's goons come and take her away. She was the daughter of Raghavendra,a business partner of Aravind. The girl was still studying, but her father hated and ill treated her and put her in a mental hospital forcibly as she had witnessed him when he was torturing her mother who was his second wife and whom he killed. Pratap was his first wife's son. But Pratap was kind towards his step sister and had promised to look after her as his own sister to her mother when she was born. She took the promise from Pratap as she was aware of her fate. Later Pratap brings Megha out from the mental hospital when his father was not there in the city and promises him that he will take care of her saying that he can not see her any more at the mental hospital. It was he who convinced his father and joined her in a college as she loved to do medicine. But Pratap could not prevent his father from ill treating her.
Megha enquires about Mahi through her brother and goes to his place to thank him and tells him that she wants to be his friend. But Mahi thinking her to be of a very proud, rich conscious, arrogant and drug addict girl, refuses saying that he did not like to make friendship with such a person like her. She gets annoyed and goes back for the time being. Later she meets him again and tells him everything about her except the fact that his father killed her mother.
Meanwhile, Selva Swamy comes to know that Aravind, one of the criminals in the bomb blast case that underwent jail term, was planning to take revenge on him by putting the murder of one government officer on him. So he finds out his address and goes to Vizag where he was staying and advises him to not commit the same mistakes again. But while he was returning after advising and warning him, some men of Aravind in the leadership of Jagdish attack him and shoot at him. Just then Mahi was passing by in his vehicle to Araku and hearing the shouts of "Help, Help" by Selva rushes to the spot and back fires the shooter who managed to escape from there. Selva was unconscious by that time due to bleeding and Mahi takes him to a Hospital for immediate treatment and informs Devi and Selva's family members. Mahi did not reveal himself to anybody but remains in background.
When police case was booked and police come to enquire to the hospital, Mahi tells his assistant Mohan to project himself as the person saving Selva Swamy after narrating to him all that happened. So Mohan faces the enquiry and narrates everything as guided by Mahi. All people including police thank him for his prudence and bravery. After Selva gets conscious he also wants to thank the person saving his life and when Mohan is brought before him by Doctors as his saviour he did not believe as he had a vague glimpse of Mahi shooting back at the attackers before falling unconscious. He wanted to tell Gomati and others that R.K.Naidu saved him. But they think he is very much shocked and disturbed and so talking like this and brush aside his words. So he could do nothing except accepting that Mohan was his saviour at that moment. Devi also arrives there to see her uncle. She stealthily meets Mahi also there. She watches Megha also secretly and gets pity over her after hearing about her story from Mahi.
Mahi meets Selva Swamy at Amma Health Service and reveals him that he is son of R.K.Naidu who went missing in the bomb blast and has been living in criminal world since then. And that only recently he had come to know that he is the son of Mumbai DG R.K.Naidu. Now he can not go in front of him saying I am your son with all his criminal activities. So he had decided to keep this fact as a secret till he attains a good image in the society by doing some good acts. So he had started Amma Health Service and kept his identity secret. So he was hesitating to come before him as he may recognize him and tell to his family. Selva gets pleased to know that R.K.'s son is alive and that it is he who had saved his life. He immediately wanted to share his pleasure with R.K.Naidu. But Mahi stops him and takes promise from him that he will never reveal his identity to anybody till he attains his aim and till the time comes. Selva agrees to this request of Mahi as he had saved him and as he is hiding his identity only for a good cause. He appreciates Mahi and blesses him and returns to Hyderabad. But at that time he did not know that Devi had married him.
.In the meantime, news of Amma Health Service's success stories spread all around and media wanted to interview the management to bring it into lime-light. It was propagated by Mahidhar through Mohan and others that it belongs to a gentle man named Mahendra who is at that time out of country. So media people fix the program with its administrator Mohan and his colleagues. Mahi informs Devi of this and asks her to make the program viewed by his mother Shanti and others also. So Devi tells her mother-in-law Shanti that a friend of her named Megha who is working in a health centre had called her and informed her of some live telecast of an interview being taken by media with her organisation and has requested her to view it. Thus Shanti comes to know of the activities of Amma Health Service and appreciates the person running such a good health centre for the cause of people in need.
So Shanti also wanted to participate in its activities and help financially also by becoming a partner. She wanted to talk with that so called Mahendra founder of Amma Health Service. Devi informs Mahi of his mother's intention. Mahi gets very much pleased and tells her to inform his mother that Mohan will talk to her and will convey the news to Mahendra. So Mohan talks to her and Shanti tells him that the services should be spread to other villages also by opening more branches to facilitate people of other places. Further that she will get funds sanctioned from government also for this good cause. Mohan informs Mahi all these things and Mahi feels very happy. He tells Mohan to convey his acceptance of her partnership on the condition that she will be the MD and all financial transactions will be dealt with by her single signatures only and that he will be in the background and look after other matters.. Shanti at first wanted to disagree but afterwards accepts as Mohan makes her convinced on the instructions of Mahi. Then Shanti informs all these things to her husband R.K.Naidu and seeks his permission. When he is told that all financial transactions will be dealt with by Shanti he agrees to it as there will be no risk of mis-appropriation of funds. Devi tells that she also wants to be a part of all these activities and Shanti agrees to it.
Now Shanti visits Amma Health Service accompanied by Devi along with police protection. Megha has been previously informed of their visit and instructed to act like Devi's friend. Shanti gets acquainted with the process and activities of the health centre through Mohan and his associates. Mahi watches her mother secretly from a distance and gets much pleased. Then he meets Devi also secretly. Megha admires Devi's beauty but she had no idea of her being Mahi's wife.After their return also Megha tries to come closer to Mahi by admiring him too much. She slowly begins to fall in love with him as she did not know that he is already married. Mohan tried many times to make her understand that Mahi and Devi are closely related. But Megha is unable or not willing to understand his hints. She even talks with Devi over phone one day to clear her doubts. But as Devi could not reveal to her anything except that they are close relatives, Megha assumes that there is no love making between them. So she goes on continuing her love and Mahi remains unaware of her internal feelings.
Aravind, who had sent Jagdish and others to shoot Selva gets very angry and restless upon Selva's escape. Jagdish tells him that R.K. had saved Selva. Further he makes Aravind tense by telling him that he is very much afraid of R.K. as he will not leave him and Aravind. But Aravind doubts how R.K. can save Selva as everything is being kept secret of his whereabouts and activities. And that how can he reach that spot of attack in Araku forests at that time. So he does not believe the words of Jagdish that the saviour of Selva was R.K.
Meanwhile, Ishwar also was waiting to take revenge on Munna/Mahi. So he searches for him and comes to know that he is running a health centre in araku village. He goes there in search of him and finds him. He shoots photos of him with Megha and wanted to send the photos to Devi. But then Ishwar felt Devi will not trust and may get even more angry with him. So he changes his mind and sends the photo of Mahi to Aravind as he knew that Aravind was planning to destroy R.K.Naidu's family. He tells him over phone that the person saving Selva was R.K.'s son Mahidhar and he came there to take revenge on them.
Mohan was observing Megha's behaviour and her intentions in getting closer to Mahi and reminds her about his belief that Mahi and Devi are more closely related to one another than she is thinking. So Megha one day checks Mahi's phone when he was not there and reads the messages between him and Devi which contain
"I love You" and her heart gets broken and she leaves the home without telling anyone. Now Pratap and Raghavendra take advantage of this by telling her that Mahi had done all this deliberately to take revenge on them. She believes them and stays with them.
Now Devi comes to know of this through Mahi and tells him that as Megha was loving him thinking him to be unmarried, she must have been hurt knowing about their intimacy and that could be the reason for her leaving home. Both of them feel sorry for her and decide to handle the situation delicately.
Meanwhile, Mohan who has been watching Mahidhar to be very seclude and worried about some thing, requests him to tell about his past. So Mahi tells him his story and his inability to meet his parents. Mohan assures Mahi that he will meet them very soon and that he will help him with whatever he can do. Then Mohan thinks of telling the truth to Megha and clear her misunderstandings about Mahi. But when he goes there, Pratap catches him and beats him. Mahi feels sorry for Mohan and gets angry with pratap. So he takes Mohan back to Pratap and makes him beat Pratap and warns Pratap not to touch him again.
In the meanwhile, Satya's daughter Pallavi and Selva's son Durga who were developing friendship with each other through frequent meetings at her college and other places become more and more intimate. They liked each other very much. Pallavi gets falling in love with Durga. But Durga, even though he likes her very much, wanted to keep distance with her due to the long lasting enmity between their families and breaks her heart deliberately by telling her that he loves some other girl. Pallavi gets much depressed but Devi consoles her and makes her concentrate on her studies and her aim of becoming an IPS officer.
R.K.Naidu, who had been keeping watch on AHS management's activities through his assistant Shivalkar and others, one day suddenly calls Mahi and tells him that he found out Mahendra to be none other than Munna by checking his background details and by tracking phone calls of one number held by Mohan in the name of AHS which received calls from Sikander Bhai, Devi and Selva Swamy. He further tells him that he heard his conversation with Bhai when he was telling Bhai that he could not kill R.K. He tells Mahi that he knew Munna to be basically good and invites him to come to his house with agreement papers of AHS. Mahi feels very happy that R.K.has forgiven him even though he planned attack on him.
R.K. tells Shanti also that Munna is Mahendra of AHS. Shanti feels happy that Munna has changed. Devi apologizes to them for concealing the fact and they forgive her. Devi feels very happy and excited and asks Mahi to come home. But he tells her that he wants some more time to come in front of his parents.
Meanwhile, Pratap and Raghavendra plan with a goon for killing Mahi. That goon recognises Mahi as Munna and tells Sikander Bhai. Sikander immediately goes to Raghavendra and warns him to stay away from Mahi telling him that Mahi is his brother. From that time Raghavendra leaves all his plans and advises Pratap also to keep away from Mahi.
Mahi also shifts his residence to Hyderabad to end all this fuss with Raghavendra and his son. Mohan also leaves along with Mahi and Vinay was given charge of Vizag AHS.
When Munna avoids going to RK's house and informs to send Mohan instead, RK doubts why Munna is still avoiding to face him even after his forgiving. So to clear his doubts, he calls Selva and asks him why Munna, who is running AHS is still hiding even after his change from a criminal to a good person. Thus Selva gets to know that Mahi is Munna and Devi is RK's daughter-in-law. He feels extremely happy that Devi had married RK's son but conceals it and tells RK that he knows nothing. But RK senses that Selva is hiding something. So he orders Shivalkar to bring Munna to him. Then Shivalkar informs him that Munna is in Hyderabad. Now RK's doubts increase as Shanti and Devi are also in Hyderabad with some AHS work.
After much thinking Munna decides to meet his parents and tells the same to RK. He reveals the truth to his brothers Anji, Kittu and Ali also. They feel very happy to know that he is the son of such great people and congratulate him. Selva invited Mahi to his house. There Rajani also gets to know that Munna is RK's son and feels happy for her daughter Devi.
Meanwhile Ishwar who was hating Munna and Devi joins hands with Aravind and plots to kill Devi. Selva comes to know of this and gets very angry with Ishwar and shoots at him in front of all family members. But Durga comes in between to save Ishwar and gets the bullet. Immediately he is rushed to the hospital. Now Ishwar realizes his mistakes.and comes to understand what true love is. He realizes that true love gives life but not takes life. He understands that his love with Devi is not a true love. From that moment he starts transforming into a good person.
One day, Sikander Bhai calls Mahi suddenly.to Dubai. When Mahi reaches there worrying that something must have occurred to Bhai, he tells him that a don called Afzal Khan is planning to kill RK and also some bomb blasts in Mumbai. Mahi wanted to save his father and decides to join in the gang of Afzal Khan with the help of Sikander Bhai. But he does not want all this revealed to his father as it may further endanger his life. So he informs Selva about his staying back in Dubai and requests to keep Devi with them till his return and not to let RK know about his trip to Dubai. So Devi stays back at Hyderabad citing the reason of Durga's accident. It was told to Mahi's parents that Mahi is also with Devi.
But RK comes to know that Munna went to Dubai instead of meeting him and doubts him again. So he orders to get a photo of him from passport office. But the photo is not clearly visible. So he sees the CCTV recordings of Munna and identifies him as his Mahi. Selva also had to accept that Munna is Mahi and he kept it secret as per Mahi's requests. RK feels extremely happy to get back his lost son but then thinks he went to Dubai to again involve in crimes. But after hearing the call records of conversations between Selva and Mahi he comes to know that he went there to save him. So he decides not to tell Shanti the truth about Munna till he safely returns. He accepts Devi as his daughter-in-law and assures her that he will take care of Mahi and will not let anything happen to him.
Meanwhile, Durga acknowledges his love with Pallavi after telling her the truth that he had no girl friend. They keep on meeting each other and Satya comes to know of this affair. One day he beats Durga very badly saying that he will never accept their love. He tells Shanti also not to interfere in this matter asking her if she can marry Devi with Mahi if he was here. Shanti gets much disturbed at his question and RK had to console her telling that she will know what to do when the time comes.
RK contacts Mahi through an informer and tells him that he knew all about him including that he is his son and that he is very proud of him. He asks him to come back saying that he already had information of the attack on him and will manage himself. But Mahi refuses to return until getting all information about the attacks. So RK tells him to be careful and provides some SIM card through the informer.
With Sikander Bhai's introduction, Mahi manages to join the gang of Afzal Khan in the makeup of Munna
and makes them believe that he also wants to take revenge on RK. So they join him also in their discussions. Afzal Khan's son Imran is mentally ill and always kept in closed doors. He sees Munna and develops friendship with him. He tells Munna that he is getting bored in closed doors. Munna tells him that he can come to his house whenever he wants.
Meanwhile RK and Mahi keep on maintaining contact over phone with different numbers. Mahi passes on information about activities of the gang regularly. One day Imran visits Munna's house along with his father. While they were engaged in talking, Imran gets a phone in Mahi's room and makes a call to his father as a play. It was a new number. Imran remains in Munna's house and Afzal Khan returns back. After going out, he checks the number and doubts that Munna is keeping other number also for some other activities. To confirm this doubt he goes back to Munna's house. Munna was clever enough to know about his intentions for returning. So he acts as if he had kidnapped Imran.
Mumbai CM congratulates Mahi for his smartness and dare in saving the lives of so many people. RK feels happy and proud of his son. He tells Shanti, Satya and others that Mahi is alive and safe and he is returning to them. But he did not reveal about Devi being their daughter-in-law as he feared that Shanti cannot digest everything at once. Devi also agreed to maintain that much of secrecy.
Now Satya, Keerthana and all their family members reach Mumbai from Hyderabad and wait for Mahi's arrival along with Shanti. Mahi arrives in Mumbai and meets them along with RK at the same temple where he had previously, as Munna, planned to kill RK in his ignorance. Thus Mahi meets his family after a long journey through thorns of vicious, criminal world.
