Agni Poolu - Part 7: Govind master's release from jail & Raju, Neelu's marriages with Viren and Prithvi

Agni Poolu is a mega TV serial on Gemini TV, produced by Srikanth Entertainment Pvt.Ltd. and directed by the great Manjula Naidu of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. The story is based on the famous writer Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani.


Meanwhile, Prithvi who has been trying very hard for Govind master's release, thinks of getting help from the home minister as the last resort. He takes appointment and visits her alongwith Neelaveni. The home minister quickly recognises both of them as she had seen Prithvi on TV when he was addressing public and media in connection with a PIL on Swamidass and she knew Neelu to be a news reader on Gemini TV. So she talked with them cordially and agreed to help them in getting the release of Govindji as she wants to use Prithvi for promoting her party image. When they were about to move from there after expressing gratitude, the Home Minister tells Prithvi that she will be waiting eagerly for his services to her ruling party in return for her favour of releasing Govindji.


Prithvi, by this time occupies an important place in Swamidass' family and their hearts because of his good helping nature, ideal thoughts and sweet  talking style. Parvati, her son Viren and his grandfather Veeraswamy all liked Prithvi very much. Swamidass also has no objections in Prithvi's visits to his house. One day, while Prithvi was in Viren's house on Parvati's request to give moral support to Viren, he receives a call from the jailor of Cherlapally where Govindji is kept. Prithvi is asked to immediately meet the jailor. He becomes much worried as to why he is being called so suddenly. He reaches the jail immediately and there, the jailor informs him about release of Govindji as per home minister's orders and Govindji's refusal to leave the jail. Prithvi gets very happy listening to the news and tells the jailor that he will convince the master and take him with him.


At first Govindji shouts very much on Prithvi for getting him out of jail as he did not like the idea of coming out or meeting people who may recognize him and talk about his past life. Prithvi begins weeping saying that he is an orphan and so Govindji does not like to get out from jail and live with him. Govind master gets moved by his feelings and consoles him and agrees to accompany him to stay in his house on the condition that he will be staying secretly inside the house and nobody should know about his presence there. Only Krishnamurthy, his daughter Neelaveni and her mother Satya can be allowed to meet him and none other than them.


Meanwhile, Samir meets Gaurishankar and tries to increase his anger on Swamidass and his family so that he may take revenge on them.more quickly and get convicted by court. Sameer wants to become CM at any cost and as soon as possible. So he explains a plan to Gaurishankar for killing Viren and thereby wins his accolades. Gaurishankar likes Sameer's sharp mind in making plans for him.


Gaurishankar engages a goon for tracking and ending the life of Viren through some road accident. He keeps watching Viren's every movement so as to find him unalert and away from his security. But he does not find him without security even for a while.


Sameer pretends to be with Swamidass and makes all attempts to oust him from his MP post. He meets his close supporters and buys them with money and/or threatens to end their lives and drag their families to streets if they do not follow his advice. So they all move away from Swamidass. The high command at Delhi  required a memorandum from  Swamidass' supporters backing him, if Swamidass is to be re-elected as MP. But nobody come forward to sign the memorandum because of Sameer's warnings. Swamidass gets much agitated as he does not know that Sameer is doing all this. He confides in Sameer and believes that Sameer will solve all his problems.


Viren is very anxious to meet Raju and talk to her. But his parents and grandfather advise him to wait for some days so that Raju recovers from her panicked state of mind. So he decides to wait but sends her a bouquet of roses one day through a courier before it is dawn. Raju's mother keeps it in front of Raju's eyes at the side of TV. When Raju wakes up, she gets very pleased to see the fresh bouquet and feels a bit agitated when she comes to know that Viren sent it. But she stops her mother from removing it from there. Later her mother tells Raju about all the incidents that took place which confirm that Viren and his father have changed a lot and she should accept the fact. She further tells Raju that Viren's love for her had changed him to become so good and gentle as he is now and that Swamidass had changed because of his love for Viren and also due to Parvati.


Raju slowly recovers from her shock (of getting arrested and branded as a call girl before media and kept separated from mother for a long duration). She begins to understand things and removes all her hate and suspicions about Swamidass and Viren. She starts to think of Viren and understand his love towards her when he was saving her from the acid attack by taking the acid upon himself. She gets much worried and anxious about him. She thinks of talking with him in the midnight itself. Viren also was not getting the sleep. He was thinking of Raju and his bouquet of roses, whether she accepted it or threw it away. Just then, Raju dials his number from the guesthouse phone. Viren takes the call, but gets no voice from the other side. After much silence, he doubts it may be Raju and asks whether it is Raju (Tom boy as he calls her). Raju feels very glad hearing his voice but does not speak. Viren gets confirmed that it is she and feels very happy that she now likes him. But Raju puts the receiver back in utter shy and returns to her room with great happiness. Her friend Neelu notices her and recognizes that she is happy because of Viren and feels much relieved.


Viren's grandfather buys diamond bangles for Raju picking Viren also from his office for shopping. After their return, he shows them to Parvati and Swamidass and narrates them how Viren selected those bangles after viewing dozens of designs. They enjoy ragging Viren. Next day, Viren's grandfather goes to the guesthouse along with Viren and offers the bangles to Raju. Raju has no habit of wearing bangles. So she hesitates accepting them. But, Veeraswamy the grandfather, tells her that girls should wear bangles and flowers as per our traditions and that they form the most important things of their life. Raju's mother also convinces Raju to take the gift.


After their return, Raju's mother reminds Raju about Viren's love towards her and about the aspirations of Parvati and Viren's grandfather to get Raju married to Viren. She tells Raju that they are not mere bangles but their hopes on her and convinces Raju to accept and realise all these facts and agree to marry Viren as he has changed a lot and become very good now. Raju replies that she likes him much and is ready to marry him. Her mother feels very happy and much relieved from her tensions.


Raju's mother invites Krishnamurthy and his wife to come to her residence the next morning to discuss some important matter. They come with anxiety and feel very happy knowing about Raju's consent to marry Viren. Raju's mother requests them to take the charge of acting as Raju's parents and perform her marriage
(widows or single persons can not perform any auspicious ceremonies which require the presence of both husband and wife). They gladly accept and immediately inform to Viren's parents about their coming to their residence to discuss some important matter. They convey Raju's acceptance for marriage and mutually fix the dates for engagement and marriage of Rajyalakshmi with Viren.


Meanwhile, Neelu's marriage also comes for discussion as Parvati wanted to celebrate Prithvi's marriage also along with Viren's marriage.. She tells them that she and her husband will sit as parents for Prithvi's marriage also. Prithvi and Neelu's parents (Krishnamurthy, Satya) get very happy at Parvati's decision and her love for Prithvi. But Prithvi worries for Govind master as he wanted Govindji's presence in his marriage. Govindji convinces Prithvi to accept Parvati's offer. But Prithvi tells that since childhood, he got all his mother's love and father's love from Govindji only. He further tells Neelu's parents that he regards the master as his true father, mother, teacher and even his God. So he demands that his engagement ceremony should take place in presence of Govindji between him and Krishnamurthy's family only.


Parvati wants to select the ornaments and sarees for Rajyalakshmi's engagement ceremony, but she gets much confused and unable to select from the hundreds of designs sent to her by the shop owners. So Viren's grandfather advises her and Swamidass to call the design makers to house so that Parvati designs herself her choice of colours and designs. Parvati invites Raju also to be present there for selecting designs. Viren also assists Raju in the selection. Then he takes her to show his room (which will be her's also after their marriage). There in the room, Raju remembers her previous visit to his room to warn him to know his real position aloof from his father's status and make him realise his wrong approaches to life and enjoyment. Viren recognises her silence and her thoughts. He immediately makes her feel comfort and narrates to her everything that he felt and experienced during that last meeting of her and how he gradually realised his mistakes and follies and changed himself completely after his visit to his grandfather's residence in his village Suravaram. He tells her that it was his grandfather who made him realise that he is in love with Raju and can not live without her. Raju requests Viren to forget everything that happened and from henceforth enjoy the life happily.


Engagement ceremonies of both Raju and Neelaveni take place in customary styles even though Neelu, Prithvi's engagement was a very simple function between Govindji and Krishnamurthy's family. Govind master and Krishnamurthy exchanged the thalis of dress & ornaments with tambulam. Then the engagement rings and flower garlands were exchanged between Neelu and Prithvi and they enjoyed the occasion with dinner and sweets. Raju's engagement took place on a grand scale even though it also was not attended by any invitees as only Neelu, Prithvi and Neelu's parents were invited for the occasion.


When Prithvi was enjoying along with others at the dinner after engagement, he gets message from the Home Minister to meet her immediately. So he goes to meet her. She offers him the posts of Youth Leader and Legal cell member of the ruling party. Before accepting, Prithvi clearly informs her that he will not bear any unlawful acts or those against public well being. If she and her high command can agree to these conditions, then only he will join the party. She agrees to his conditions and tells him that her party needs only such a dynamic and honest youth leader and that is why he has been selected for the posts.


Parvati gets very happy hearing this news on TV. She congratulates Prithvi and invites him to her house. She prepares special sweet dish and tells others to wait as she had invited a VIP. Swamidass and Viren also feel very glad to see Prithvi and know about his new posts in ruling party. Viren feels worried as his father is opposition party MP and their relations with Prithvi may affect because of his posts. But Swamidass knows that Prithvi will be always with honest people and so there will not be any misunderstandings between them.


Viren gets an idea of enjoying some fun by targeting his grandfather as the grandfather often used to enjoy by ragging him. For satisfying this simple desire, he takes the help of Prithvi and asks him to come at the midnight to his outhouse. On Prithvi's arrival, Viren pretends as if he is talking with Raju in front of his grandfather's room. Viren knows that his grandfather's ears are very sensitive and will definitely hear his conversion and follow him to the outhouse. Then,Viren makes some noise to alert his grandfather and stealthily moves towards the outhouse  to meet Prithvi, who is sitting there wearing a blanket to hide himself. Viren acts as if it is Raju by speaking with love and his grandfather sees everything hiding from his back. But then, he suddenly gets much excited and comes out to Viren and asks him what is going on there at such a time. Immediately the blanket wearer gets up and hides in an adjacent room. The grandfather, thinking it to be Rajyalakshmi, calls her back and tells not to feel shy as he himself had done many such things when he was young like Viren. Then the blanket wearer removes blanket and Veeraswamy gets shocked to see Prithvi there. Both Viren and Prithvi laugh at him very joyfully. But Veeraswamy gets embarrassed and angry also and goes away from there. Viren thanks Prithvi for helping him in enjoying fun. Prithvi feels satisfied as if he had helped his younger brother for enjoying some happy moments. Then Viren requests Prithvi to be friends with him throughout his entire life to share all happy and sad moments with him. Both of them feel very happy and much closer to one another as if they are real brothers. It is a real fact. But none of them know that both of them are sons to the same Parvati.


Later Viren tries to cool his grandfather at breakfast by expressing sorry and promising to never again do such things. Parvati and Swamidass also smile and enjoy a bit on knowing about the incident, but tell Viren not to do such things with elders. He promises to follow the advice.


As their engagement is already over, Raju and Viren come closer and go out together to temples and on shoppings and dinners. Gaurishankar's informers and goons follow them everywhere and give regular informations about their whereabouts and the tight security around them at all places. Gaurishankar gets much disturbed and worried. Sameer also wants to join hands with him for achieving his dream of CM post. But Gaurishankar does not trust him and stops him in all his attempts to come closer to him. He keeps all his plans secret from Sameer.


The marriage day arrives close. Neelu's mother suggests that marriage may be held in presence of Lord Satyanarayana Swamy at Annavaram. As marriages of both Viren and Prithvi are to be made by Parvati and Swamidass at same time, they inform about this suggestion through Rajyalakshmi's mother and Neelu's mother. Parvati gladly accepts to the proposal and makes Swamidass also accept to it. So it is finalised that marriages will be held at the temple in Annavaram.


Gaurishankar goons were in the hope that marriage will be held in Swamidass house and they were planning accordingly to kill them. But when the venue gets changed to Annavaram, they had to drop all plans on Gaurishankar's instructions. He tells them to wait for some days and not to plan anything during the marriage.


So, the marriage ceremonies take place without any untoward incidents at Annavaram temple. Govind master also witnesses the marriage as arrangements were made by Prithvi and Neelaveni's family for him to witness the marriage secretly from his room covered by curtains. Parvati happens to go that side into his room for some items but Satyavati notices timely and stops her from going inside by offering to bring the required items herself from inside that room. Govindji witnesses every scene of the function with great satisfaction and happiness. He gets great pleasure that Parvati had treated both Viren and Prithvi with equal importance and love. He thanks God that he is able to witness all this. Prithvi and Neelaveni take the blessings of Govindji by coming into his room before taking others' blessings. Parvati wonders what could be there inside the room that they are giving so much importance. But she is kept aloof from reaching into that room.

After that, all of them return back to Hyderabad to their houses along with the new couples.

Agni Poolu - Part 6: Rajyalakshmi and her mother's plight and getting protection from Swamidass

Viren's condition was very serious as his burns were very deep and  nearer to the neck on the shoulder. So he was shifted from the village to Town Hospital where a senior specialist doctor was arranged to perform the operation immediately. Swamidass reached the hospital, with great tension in his mind, from Hyderabad on receiving the news from Mallesh. He informed Parvati also to reach the hospital directly from Suravaram taking his father also. Parvati weeps throughout the journey and her father-in-law tried to console her. But he himself was very scared of the incident.

After the operation was over, Viren gets consciousness at intervals and sees his father and mother weeping for him and consoles his mother telling that he saved Raju which is a great satisfaction to him and that he will get well soon as he has to meet Raju again. Parvati comes to know from her husband that Raju and her mother do not want to keep any relationship with them and are very outraged against them. So Raju will never come to see Viren. But Parvati tells her husband that she will go and try to convince Rajyalakshmi and bring her for the sake of Viren's recovery.

In the mean time, Raju's mother was  very sorry for Viren as he had saved her daughter. She sends Chandraiah to know about his condition. Chandraiah reached the hospital when Viren was being shifted into the ambulance for taking him to the town hospital. He enquires the staff and comes to know that his condition was serious and so being shifted to the town hospital for surgery and better treatment. He returned to Raju's mother and informed her everything.

Raju's mother, getting worried of Raju non-responding to anything, rings to her family doctor at Hyderabad and narrates him everything that took place and asks him for advice. He prescribed some medicines through SMS. Chandraiah brought the medicines from market and on taking those medicines, Raju gets some recovery. After getting back her consciousness, Raju recollects all the incidents and asks her mother about Viren's health. Her mother reveals her about whatever Chandraiah had told her. Raju immediately gets up and seeks permission from her mother for going to visit him. But her mother prevents her reminding all the attacks made on her by Swamidass and his men. She tells her that Swamidass will not spare her as she has been the cause of Viren's present condition.

Further more, Raju's mother plans to leave the place immediately to save Raju from Swamidass and his men. But Raju does not like her idea. She tries to explain to her that Swamidass will not harm her. But her mother does not accept and compels Raju to pack up immediately swearing on her. Thus they leave the place secretly instructing Chandraiah not to reveal to anybody about their whereabouts or contact numbers. Meanwhile, Parvati reached Raju's house along with Mallesh, to take Raju to the hospital and make Viren happy so that he may recover quickly. But, on reaching there, she comes to know that they have already left the place and their whereabouts are not known to anybody. She feels very sad and returns back.

Gaurishankar returns from his foreign tour along with his daughter. On reaching home, his servant gives him the envelope given by Swamidass. Shammee gets excited and happy and opens the envelope and finds the ring rolling down from the envelope to the floor. She gets very shocked at this and feels it to be a question of prestige issue for her. She feels that her image has been blackened among her friends and circles. She tells her father that she can not live now and runs away on to the roads. Her father and servants also run behind her, but she runs very fast to escape from them and comes under a vehicle and rolls down her head hitting to a rock. Bleeding started from head and with the help of onlookers she is taken to the hospital immediately. But due to excessive bleeding throughout the way, she is declared dead by the doctors.

Gaurishankar gets mentally broken on his daughter's death and and vows to destroy Swamidass family to satisfy her soul. He straightly goes to his house and comes to know that all his family is engaged in a hospital of Karnataka state. He gets the address, immediately reaches the hospital and tries to shoot Swamidass. But the bullet strikes Swamidass' father as he pushed away his son from the target. It hit Swamidass' father right on the shoulder and he shouts with severe pain. Immediately he is taken to the operation theatre and the bullet got removed and some medicines/injections given for bearing pain. Swamidass and Parvati try to talk to him but he falls into deep sleep due to the injection.

Viren has not been informed of all this, as he may get worried and try to take revenge on Gaurishankar. Gaurishankar has been arrested by the police on the spot itself as he had been caught firing the bullets. Swamidass gets pity on his condition and goes to the police station to meet him and to console him. But Gaurishankar gets enraged at his sight and shouts at him and holds his neck tightly saying that he and his son were the cause of his daughter's death. Swamidass gets shocked at this. Then he comes to know that his daughter died by hitting a vehicle while running on road in frustration. He now understands why Gaurishankar was so much angry and wanted to kill him and gets even more pity on his mental condition and expresses his sorry for all that had happened. He feels very guilty for his daughter's death. But Gaurishankar does not let him and tries to tighten his hold on his neck to kill him. The police come to his rescue and save Swamidass from his grip.

Swamidass returns back  after requesting the police not to file case against Gaurishankar considering his mental condition and the great loss suffered by him. Meanwhile, media men get the news covered in their reports The Home Minister of Karnataka gets the case transferred to Hyderabad to escape from the headache as the victim and the accused both belong to Hyderabad and both are highly influenced people. Accordingly Gaurishankar gets shifted from the local jail to Hyderabad under tight security. And as soon as he reaches there, his advocates get the bail papers ready for his release and he is taken to his house for cremation of his daughter.

By that time, Swamidass also obtains permission from the doctors to take his son Viren and his father from that Karnataka hospital to his residence in Hyderabad. They all arrive in Hyderabad. Knowing this the media people reach their house to know about the incidents leading to the enmity between Gaurishankar and Swamidass. They keep on asking questions which reach the ears of Viren and Viren gets knowledge about Sharmila's death and attack by Gaurishankar which injured his grandfather. He feels very guilty at Sharmila's death as it was due to his refusing to marry and returning the engagement ring to her.

Viren tells his parents that he wants to go to Gaurishankar house to express sorrow and convey his condolences. His mother gets very much afraid but father and grandfather appreciate his good feelings and agree with him. Swamidass accompanies Viren and both reach Gaurishankar house where the body of Sharmila is kept for public view before cremation. Viren places the flowers and expresses his sorrow with deep heart. He feels sorry for her wrong decision in ending her life, taking it as a prestige issue, without thinking even for a while of her father.

Gaurishankar was upstairs with Sameer when Viren placed flowers and was expressing his condolences. He comes down for the cremation programme and sees Swamidass and his son standing there at the dead body. He gets very furious and nervous and reaches Viren angrily and holds his collar and then neck shouting loudly and repeating again and again that he was the cause for her death. He tightens his grip of his neck and Viren feels difficulty in breathing. Swamidass and the police run towards them and anyhow get Viren freed from his grip. In that struggle, Viren fells down and his injured back hits some object and bleeding starts. The police hold Gaurishankar tightly and let Swamidass take away Viren from there. Gaurishankar keeps on shouting that he will kill them both and not rest till then. His mental condition was so much furious that he is unable to realize that both Swamidass and his son are repenting and feeling really sorry for the happenings even though it was not their fault for Sharmila's death.

Her pride and prestige and lack of understanding capacity and accepting reality made her take such a hasty and wrongful decision to kill herself. She could have made up her mind and lived happily by marrying some other person if she could have accepted the reality.

Swamidass and Viren reach home from Gaurishankar house and immediately the doctor, already waiting there, attends to Viren's bleeding shoulder by dressing and giving medication. When Parvati sits by his side in anxiety and with worry, Viren requests her that he wants to see his Tomboy (Rajyalakshmi) immediately, as he is very much worried for her. His mother gets astonished that he is not caring for his burns and bleeding but worrying for Raju's safety. She tells him that Raju is not there in Siriguppa and has left already along with her mother to some unknown place and that Swamidass is trying to know her whereabouts. He gets restless and wants to search by himself, but somehow he is calmed by his father and mother.

Sameer, who gets disgust at the failure of all his plans in using the circumstances for strengthening his position to be CM of Andhra Pradesh, now thinks of playing another game. He tries to trace the whereabouts of Rajyalakshmi and her mother by employing his goons as well as police. He pretends to be the well wisher of Swamidass and his son Viren. He tries to use the industrialist Gaurishankar also. But Gaurishankar gives no value to his status as he himself is so much powerful than anybody else. Swamidass and Viren confide in Sameer thinking him to be their wellwisher who can play a great role in making Viren the next CM of the state. But Sameer wants the CM post for himself and so plays all games possible to remove Swamidass from his powerful MP post at first and thereafter from the world also.

Sameer succeeds in getting the whereabouts of Rajyalakshmi and her mother through his informer. He immediately rings to Gaurishankar and reveals about their whereabouts and advises him to take his revenge on Swamidass and Viren by killing Raju as they are taking shelter in a hotel at Bangalore. Gaurishankar feels very happy and decides to do something immediately so as to fulfill his promise to his daughter's dead body that he will definitely take revenge on all of them and satisfy her soul.

Meanwhile, there at Bangalore, Raju's mother goes out for purchasing some medicine to Raju and notices Mallesh wandering nearby . She anyhow reaches back to the hotel escaping from his sight and tells Raju that they should leave that place immediately as danger is ahead. Rajyalakshmi does not agree asking her how long can they be running like this. She also tries to convince her mother that Viren and Swamidass have changed a lot now.Viren had saved her from the acid attack and became himself a victim. She has witnessed his deep love for her at that moment and that she is also loving him full heartedly now. So she will not run away now and face the situations boldly. Raju's mother, Indira Devi feels restless and does not know what to do. She decides to take the help of Prithvi as he is the only reliable person now. So she calls to him and requests him to come to their place immediately for some help giving him the full address of their location.

Prithvi immediately starts to Bangalore in a cab after informing Neelu, Govind master and Neelu's parents about Indira Devi's call. He reached the Hotel in Bangalore and enquired for them. But there is no record of their stay in the hotel. Prithvi wanted to search all the rooms as they may be staying there with some changed names. But the hotel manager and proprietor does not allow him to go in. So he goes to the police station to complain against them. The SI asks him to place a written complaint giving full details and come back again after 24 hours.

There, Viren was feeling restless for Raju and slips out from the house at midnight and starts for Bangalore in search of her in his car. While driving for long hours, he begins to experience much strain and his burns begin bleeding due to the continuous strain on his shoulders.

In the morning, after performing her puja, Parvati notices that Viren's car is not there and comes to know from the security that he had left house in the night itself. She gets much frightened and thinks of taking Prithvi's help. She immediately calls to Prithvi while he was coming out of the police station after submitting his complaint. She informs him about Viren going to Bangalore. Prithvi tells her that he is also in Bangalore with some urgent work. She feels much relieved and thanks God. Prithvi assures her that he will take full care of Viren and requests her to feel relaxed.

Prithvi rings to Viren's mobile and enquires about his location and asks him to stay there as he will be reaching him within minutes. Then, Prithvi notices Viren's bleeding shoulder and takes him to a hospital for dressing. Viren does not agree to get dressed as he is in hurry to see Raju. But Prithvi manages in convincing him by telling him that he only knows the whereabouts of Raju as he had come to Bangalore with their work only. So Viren agrees to be dressed and then demands again for going to Raju immediately. Prithvi cools him and tells him all that happened since his reaching the hotel till his filing complaint in the police station about Rajyalakshmi and her mother's missing. Just then, they happen to view the breaking news on a TV screen of the hospital regarding four call girls being nabbed from a hotel of Bangalore along with Raju's photo flashing in the news. They get shocked and Viren angrily kicks a chair of the hospital upside down, The staff get afraid at his behaviour. Prithvi controls and cools him. Then they come to know from the news that those call girls are kept at the government rehabilitation centre and immediately go there to get her release.

The Inspector at the centre refuses to give permission for meeting the girl. But when Prithvi talks to DGP on phone and tells him that he is closely acquainted with Andhra Pradesh Home Minister and wants to meet an inmate of the rehabilitation centre but the incharge is not giving permission, the Inspector gets afraid and without talking to the DGP, immediately accords permission. Raju is brought in front of them. But Rajyalakshmi refuses to talk with Viren. Viren tries to explain her everything, but she is of the opinion that his father is responsible for all that took place and goes inside without listening to Viren or Prithvi.

So they had to return back from there. Meanwhile, Swamidass also witnessed the TV news and becomes very agitated. At the same time, Gaurishankar rings to Swamidass and enquires whether his heart is still okay or broke into pieces. He laughs at Swamidass very wickedly and tells him that it is only a starting and much more bad news will be there in the coming days.

Swamidass now understands that all this was the plan of Gaurishankar to harass and torture him and Viren. He gets very restless and unable to control his anger and shouts taking Gaurishankar name. His father and wife get frightened and ask what happened. Then he tells them about the TV news and Gaurishankar call. Parvati gets broken on hearing all this and gets worried about Viren also. She calls to Prithvi and enquires about their safety. He informs her about their meeting Raju and her hatred towards Viren and Swamidass.

Swamidass speaks to Viren and tells him that he is coming immediately to deal with the matter. He tells him and Prithvi to reach the hotel where he has booked a room. Meanwhile, Prithvi calls to Krishnamurthy and seeks media help for dealing with the incharge of rehabilitation centre and the SI. Krishnamurthy arranges an influential person at Bangalore for his help. Next day all of them reach the centre with bail for Raju. But Raju does not confide in Viren and Swamidass and refuses to come out with them. Prithvi tries to convince her but Viren thinking himself better suited for convincing tries to explain all details. Raju thinks it to be a new story to trap her and shouts at Viren and Swamidass that she will never come with them until they bring her mother.

So they return to the room and think of ways to trace the whereabouts of her mother. Prithvi and Viren are convinced that the SI knows everything but he is hiding everything as per instructions of some bigger hand in that plan. Prithvi wanted to confirm his doubt. He goes to the hotel from where Raju and her mother were taken away by police. There he hears the gatekeeper talking about bribe money with some person over phone. Then Prithvi also offers big notes to him and requests him to give him some details about a mother and daughter who stayed in that hotel and went missing. The gatekeeper tells him everything that he had seen.like police coming and arresting both the daughter and mother and carrying each other separately in  different vehicles in different directions and tells the arresting person is the same SI whom Prithvi had met for filing complaint. So it has been confirmed that the SI had every knowledge of both women.

Meanwhile, the SI informs Sameer about Viren and Prithvi coming to the station and threatening to kill him with pistol demanding information of Raju's mother. Sameer, who is controlling all this on behalf of Gaurishankar, advises the SI to kill the mother by halting her breathe and put the crime on Swamidass to arrest him and destroy all his image.

After confirmation of the fact that SI took both Raju and her mother arrested in separate jeeps, Prithvi rings to the media person and tells him to meet him in the police station  along with personal information of  the SI Ajeet Kumar. Swamidass and Viren also come there.All of them compel the SI to provide them the whereabouts of Raju's mother. The media person tells many personal and defaming things of the SI and his daughter enjoying alcohol with her boy friend in clubs. Swamidass and others now force the SI to tell truth or face his death and defamation of his family. He gets shocked at his daughter's news and tells the truth to save himself and his family. He tells them that in lust of money he agreed to arrest the mother and daughter and compelled the daughter to accept charges of being caught in a raid as a call girl red handed with a man otherwise he will kill her mother. He confesses that her mother is in a secret cell in his station and hands her to them.

She is released immediately but is in a very pitiable condition as she had not taken food for many days. They fear that she may not bear the shock of seeing Raju in the rehabilitation centre. But she insists to meet Raju. So they had to tell her everything since their arrest from the hotel. She breaks down on hearing that Raju has been branded as a sex worker and call girl. But anyhow regains strength on Prithvi and Viren's assurances and support. Then she is taken to Raju and both of them meet each other with tears rolling down.

They take Raju and her mother along with them after signing the bail papers. Meanwhile Parvati rings to Swamidass and comes to know of their release and that they are coming to stay in their home. She makes arrangements for their stay and waits for their arrival with much excitement. But Raju does not agree to go to their house. She requests her mother that they will go to their own house in Hyderabad which has been vacated previously by them  So Viren and others had to agree to their decision. Prithvi tells that he will stay with Raju and her mother for their security and Viren heaves a sigh of relief along with his father as Prithvi will take care of them.      

On their arrival to home, Swamidass and Viren find Parvati and Krishnamurthy's family eagerly waiting for Raju and her mother. They can't face them and go inside into their rooms. Parvati becomes very tense and shouts at Swamidass for leaving Raju and her mother alone. She expresses her fear for them and the need for their protection. Swamidass could not answer her as Raju and her mother did not heed to his requests.nor Viren nor Prithvi's. So Parvati decides to go herself to them and bring them to her house. But Raju is not in a state to listen to her words. Then Parvati suggests that they can live in the guesthouse which is more safe than Raju's present house. Prithvi supports her idea and convinces Raju to accept for this proposal for the sake of all her well wishers. Then Raju agrees. So they shift to the guest house of Swamidass which is well guarded by his security men and goons.

Agni Poolu - Part 5: Viren realizing his love and saving Rajyalakshmi from bullets

This story based on Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani novel is full of rich ideals and human values. Her every story consists some ideal heroes or heroines who are able to face any kind situations with boldness and solve them with their ideal values and relationships. Govind master, Parvati, Prithvi, Krishnamurthy, Rajyalakshmi and Neelaveni are some of those characters.Even some characters like Viren's grandfather look to be very essential in her stories to console people and give them strength to fight in their life.

Swamidass father Veeraswamy reads the news of Parvati getting bullet in her stomach and about her appearance in court to provide witness in the case of Prithvi. He immediately rushes to Hyderabad and enters the house of Swamidass very angrily. But Swamidass was staying at guest house as he got angry with Parvati. Viren and Parvati get tense at Veeraswamy's ire and inform Swamidass immediately. He immediately runs to his house and while his father goes on scolding him continuously for all his  cruel acts leading to the bullet hitting Parvati and the court case on Prithvi, he stands dumbstruck without opening his mouth. Thereafter, Veeraswamy asks his daughter-in-law Parvati to come with him to Suravaram for some days to spend peacefully. Viren also decides to accompany his mother as he gets attracted by his grand-father's personality and to be as guard to his mother. Swamidass gets irritated but could do nothing.

At Suravaram, Parvati and her father-in-law begin talking about Prithvi's greatness in submitting apology before court to close the case and save Parvati from being harassed and defamed in cross-examinations by lawyers. They admire his ideals and respect for human relationships. Viren listens to them and gets much disturbed and thinks of meeting him and expressing thanks on behalf of himself and his mother. So he sets out early morning saying he is returning back to Hyderabad. He comes to know that Prithvi is in court and goes to meet him. By the time he reaches court, Prithvi was about to move and seeing Viren coming nearer to him asks him the purpose of his visit. Viren tells that he came to express thanks on behalf of his mother. Prithvi tells him that he had done so only for the sake of his mother and it does not mean that he can forgive him or his father. Viren gets enraged at his answer and replies bluntly that he is not going to ask for his forgiveness, never in his lifetime and returns back angrily to his home.

Viren's father was waiting for him and after cooling him by telling that Prithvi is nothing in front of him, he asks him  to get ready for some party in the evening. Viren wanted to know details but his father hides everything from him. He comes with a new coat for Viren in the evening and asks him to wear it. Then they proceed for the party even though Viren had no idea where they are going. They reach Gaurishankar house which was grandly decorated with lights and when Viren sees Gauri Shanker and Sharmila waiting for their arrival, he comes to know that he has come to their house. He feels very uneasy and Sharmila's father announces the engagement of Sharmila with Viren in front of the guests there. Viren gets shocked and looks at his father in anguish. But Swamidass does not care for him and forces him to put the ring on Sharmila's finger after she put her ring on his finger. Viren stands still. But his father blackmails him that if he does not do as per his instructions, he will kill himself by making suicide. So Viren had to wear the ring to Sharmila. All people clap hands and begin wishing Gauri Shankar, Sharmila and Swamidass. In the meantime, Viren slips out from there and returns to Suravaram in a very disturbed and agitated mood.

Parvati and Veeraswamy get tense on seeing him and his gloomy disturbed face. After much persuasion, Viren tells his grand father everything that took place and weeps telling that he did not like that girl at all. Parvati also weeps hearing all this. Veeraswamy immediately rings to his son Swamidass and asks him to come to Suravaram immediately. Swamidass arrives there fearing something must have happened. When Veeraswamy demands explanation from him for hurting Viren's feelings, Swamidass replies that he is doing all this only for Viren's better future. He tells that Viren will become CM if he marries that girl. But his father tells him that it is his selfishness and not for Viren's future. He asks him to understand his son's feelings and act accordingly.

After some time, Viren goes to his father sitting in the front side of the house and requests him to remove the burden from his heart and free him from that bondage of ring. He further asks his father not to tell again that he will die if he does not obey him as he needs him very badly and can not lose him at any cost. Then he removes the ring from his finger and puts it in his father's hand and returns to his room. Swamidass sits there for many hours and then decides to return the ring to Gauri Shanker and so he goes inside to inform his wife and Viren but was unable to tell them anything. He informs his father that he is going back to Hyderabad and returns.

Neelu's mother feels agitated at Neelu's admiration of Prithvi and his ideals and her determination to wait till her mother agrees for their marriage. So she thinks of talking with Prithvi and test him. She asks for his number from her husband Krishnamurthy who was in office at that time. After taking the number, she rings to Prithvi and asks him to meet her as soon as he is free. Prithvi tells that he will be coming immediately and reaches her home. Then Parvati puts forth all her fears if Neelu is married to him saying that Neelu will not be safe, she will have to wait for him throughout nights while he spends his time in working for his ideals and that she may have to sacrifice even her smallest of small desires because of him. Prithvi realises her agony and promises her that he will give first preference for Neelu's happiness in his life as he loves her so much and will give all the pleasures that one should give to his wife and family throughout his life. He will never put her in troubles as he will be guarding her throughout his life. Neelu's mother Satya gets very happy at his assurances and promises and accepts him as her son-in-law and invites him for dinner in the evening.

When Neelu and Krishnamurthy return from their offices in the evening, they get surprised at her joyful mood. They ask for the secret behind her happiness but she diverts them by telling that she had learnt some new recipes from a TV programme and has prepared many dishes for the dinner. Immediately they get ready for the dinner, but she makes them wait for some time. They wait with suspense and when they see Prithvi arriving there and telling them that she had invited him to the dinner, they feel very happy and Neelu expresses her love towards her mother by kissing her on cheeks. All of them enjoy the dinner, while Satyavati takes special care of Prithvi by serving him all the dishes personally with love.

Gaurishankar was waiting for Swamidass and when he does not come to his house, he rings to him. Swamidass gathers his disturbed mind and reaches Gaurishankar house with strong determination to return the ring and provide relief to his son. So he takes the ring from his pocket and puts it Gaurishankar hand saying that his son do not like his daughter Sharmila. Gaurishankar gets shocked and then very angry over him. He asks for Viren's whereabouts to talk directly but Swamidass did not tell him. Gaurishankar becomes very much enraged but somehow controls himself and gives one week time to Swamidass to compel his son agree to the marriage or otherwise get prepared for death. Thereafter, he hands over the ring to Swamidass and tells that he and Shammi are going on foreign tour for whole one week to divert her attention from Viren for the time being, warning that Viren should be prepared to marry her by their return.

Prithvi wanted to know the reasons for Govind master's life long jail sentence and the reason behind Krishnamurthy's non-cooperation with him. Neelu also is suspicious of her father and joins hands with Prithvi in his search. They search old news papers and on website also for details having any connection with Govindji and his college days. But there is no trace of any hint at his jail sentence. Prithvi decides to go personally to Suravaram and enquire from his college, his village people and one security guard who was the SI at that time and who handed over Prithvi as a small child to Govindji for bringing him up.

Meanwhile, Rajyalakshmi(shortly called as Raju) and her mother who were staying at a village named Siruguppa in Karnataka, get involved in social service to the poor villagers. It all began with one daughter-in-law of the servant looking after them. One day she developed pains being pregnant and was unable to bear the pain. Hearing her cries, Raju and her mother run to her and find the situation very serious. Immediately they take her to the hospital along with girl's father-in-law. When they arrive there there was no Doctor as it was midnight. The nurse calls the Doctor but the Doctor shouts at her for disturbing her sleep and cuts the phone. Then Raju gets angry and warns the doctor to attend the case immediately or face consequences. So she attends the case and the daughter-in-law's life gets saved and she delivers a girl child.

All villagers get happy at Raju's character of helping others unselfishly and her concern for them. Another day, some people get fainted at a liquor shop consuming adulterated alcohol. Their wives run to them weeping and crying loudly. Again Raju runs to help them and her mother also follows them. All of the victims get admitted into the hospital. When the stock of saline bottles gets exhausted Raju scolds the staff and offers her money to immediately purchase from nearest shop. The doctor tells her that she may not get the money back. Raju does not care for the money and asks the doctor to save their lives. After they recover from dangerous condition, Raju on overhearing the Doctor's conversation comes to know that neither police nor village head came to visit them. So she decides to meet them and make complaint of the liquor seller.

The village head was a lady but all dealings are done by her husband who is stone hearted. He tells Raju and her accompanies that it is not his duty to see all these things. It is the fault of government and the consumers of the alcohol. Raju tried to argue saying it is his duty to safeguard his villagers as a village head. But he ridicules her and asks to go back. Raju then goes to give written complaint at the police station. But the village head already alerted the SI and the liquor shop owner to be careful. So the SI also refuses to register the complaint and tears off the paper telling her that he will settle the matter by offering some money to the victims. Raju gets angry at his criminal mentality and behaviour.

So she wanted to meet the collector and complain to him. Some women of the victims also get ready to go along with her. But the village head threatens their husbands regarding the consequences if they do not stop their women. So they come and drag the women to their houses leaving Raju and his mother alone. Raju gets much agitated at their rude behaviour and fear. She feels much disappointed and helpless in her urge to solve their problems. Just then, their servant Chandraiah's daughter-in-law comes to join her whose name was Chinnamma. She was twice victim of the plight of the village- once during her delivery and the second time when her husband consumed the adulterated alcohol. So she stood boldly to accompany with Raju and Chinnamma husband also followed her.

All of them reach the collector office in a sumo and there, they find the goons of the village head and liquor shop owner already watching them. They even approached Raju and threatened her to return back. But Raju was bold and determined. She did not fear their warnings even though her mother was very afraid. They wait for collector's arrival and when the PA asks for written petition, Raju tells him that she will narrate the case in person. But the collector as routine, goes through the petitions put forth before him and gets back into his vehicle thinking work is over. The PA did not tell him about Raju. So Raju stops the collector saying that she had come with an urgent case. Then the collector asks her to come to his chamber and he himself goes to his seat to hear her case. When he comes to know of the tyrannies of the village head, SI and liquor shop owner, he immediately asks his PA to fix visit for that Siruguppa village next morning itself.

So, the collector reaches the village of Siruguppa next day and the hospital Doctor narrates the graveness of the situation which could have resulted in deaths of tens of people if Raju had not been there. On coming to know of all the happenings and problems of the villagers, the collector orders SI to take the liquor shop owner into custody and warned the village head and her husband to vacate the posts if they can not take care of their people. He suggested that Raju is best suited for the post of village head as she cares for them so much. Then he returns thanking Raju and her mother for their selfless service. Media men cover this incident and their interview with her in the news telecasts.

When Prithvi reaches Suravaram and goes to the college for inquiring details about the security guard, the principal was not there. So he had to stay for the night in Suravaram. As he was having plenty of spare time, Prithvi started sight seeing and while doing so, finds Viren sitting at the banks of a canal in gloomy mood. Immediately he goes to him and wishes him. Then he asks for his mother's health. On knowing that his mother is also there, Prithvi requests him to allow him to visit his mother to wish her personally. Viren takes him to his mother. Prithvi feels very glad. Parvati and her father-in-law also get much pleased to see him. They invite him for dinner. When they were talking about his good and humble character and his great ideal values of life, Viren gets grief at heart for all his wrongdoings and ill thoughts and feels much disturbed. Prithvi notices some change in his behaviour as Viren appears to be cool in his reactions.

After Prithvi's return, Viren's mother notices Viren's gloomy mood and the pain in his heart and informs her father-in-law about his agitated condition requesting him to console him. Then he goes to Viren and knowing about his feelings advises him to first decide what he wants in his heart and act accordingly. He further tells him that lingering and wasting time in sadness does not solve problems. Such persons are only waste fellows. A true person should be determined in his feelings and actions and achieve whatever he wants by fighting with the circumstances and should not sit weeping for his past. Getting inspired by his grandfather's words, Viren sets out from the house in that night itself, to know what is his requirement and try to achieve it without wasting time.


Prithvi gets the address and phone number of the SI-cum-security services head, Ramabrahmam from the Suravaram College Principal and returns to Hyderabad. He goes to his home and asks Ramabrahmam about history of Govindji leading to his life imprisonment. But the guard recognises Prithvi and his intentions and tells him that he knows no person like that. So Prithvi returns back to Hyderabad with no information of Govindji.

Prithvi thinks a lot to find some solution to the problem as he is determined to get the release of Govindji from the jail. Krishnamurthy does not cooperate, Govindji also don't want to come out of the jail. So Prithvi keeps his plans secret and requests Neelu also to not to reveal his plans to anybody. He meets the ACP whom he had saved by tendering apology in court. The ACP promises to help him by procuring the old records of Govindji from the jail. But he has to depend for the same on the jailor and even after much efforts, he was unable to get any information.

Viren reaches Hyderabad and waits at Gemini TV studio to meet Neelu for Raju's address. When Neelu arrives to the office, he stops her and asks for the phone number and/or address of Rajyalakshmi. Neelu  reacts bluntly  and questions his intention in seeking the whereabouts of Raju. Viren does not bear her bluntness and he also reacts in the same manner and leaves the place. But he again goes to her house when her mother also is present and demands for the phone number or address of Raju. But Neelaveni was determined not to give him the details as she was afraid of his nature and intentions. Viren gets very angry and challenges that he will get Raju's whereabouts at any cost and show to Neelu his determination.

Neelu's mother feels very scared of Viren and immediately calls to Parvati and informs her about the wild behaviour of her son. Parvati feels very happy to know that Viren is searching for Rajyalakshmi and prays to God to bring them together. She informs Neelu's mother that he has changed a lot and assures her to be cool as Viren will never do harm to anybody in his present circumstances as he has become good natured now.

Meanwhile Swamidass manages to know about the whereabouts of Rajyalakshmi through his informers and appoints one Mallesh as her bodyguard. He orders Mallesh to be very careful and protect Raju and her mother at any cost and not to let even the air touch them without his knowledge. Through Mallesh, he comes to know that the liquor shop owner Parmesh is trying to attack Raju through his goons. Mallesh further informs Swamidass that his son Viren also is searching for Raju through his other informers. Swamidass tells Mallesh not to tell anybody about anything and do his duty quietly.

Swamidass arranges for the security of Viren also as he is afraid of Gaurishankar attacking his son at any time. Viren stays at guest house as he is not comfortable with his father. So Swamidass goes to him and tells him about the security arrangement and requests him to kindly accept for the security.

Then Swamidass goes to Siriguppa village in Karnataka to request Rajyalakshmi and her mother to accept Viren into their life again as he has changed a lot and can not live without Raju. But they do not trust his words and reject his request. He once again tells them to rethink over his request and returns back to Hyderabad by midnight. On way, he talks to the high command in Delhi and requests for security of Rajyalakshmi and her mother and to take action over the village president and liquor shop owner.

Swamidass goes to Viren's room in the guest house in the midnight itself  and finds him sleeping. He sits by his side for some time with affection and leaves a paper containing the address of Rajyalakshmi beneath Viren's mobile so that he can see it when he wakes up.

In the morning, when Viren extends his hand towards his mobile to see the time on waking up, his fingers touch the paper slip and immediately he sits up and views it and feels very glad to find the address of Raju in it. He thinks his goon had left it there and tells his attendant to give a bundle of notes to the goon when he comes there and leaves immediately to see Raju.

Viren travels by car all along and reaches Siriguppa in Bellary district of Karnataka state.

Meanwhile, seeing tight security around their house, Raju and her mother think that the collector had arranged for their security. So Raju tells her mother that she will go to Bellary and thank him. Her mother gets afraid to let her go so long distance. But Raju assures her to be careful and their servant Chandraiah will also accompany her. Just then, village president sends his car at her service and she gets into it to drive out her mother's fears. Two constables also get into it for her security along with Chandraiah to take her safely to Collector's office.

Raju had to wait for some time as the collector was in meeting. On meeting him, the collector enquires about the health of Raju and her mother and about the villagers. Then, Raju thanks him for the police protection and care taken by him. The collector tells that he had not provided any security and enquires from the SI of the village. Then it is revealed that protection is from higher orders.

So, Raju returns from there and on way, goes to the police station to ask the SI. The SI tells that he does not know any details as he could not question the higher authorities to tell him the reasons for providing protection. Then Raju returns the constables to him and proceeds back with Chandraiah in the vehicle.

Meanwhile, Viren goes to the house of Raju and meets her mother there. She gets very much shocked and afraid of him and tells him to return back immediately. Viren tells her that he should meet Raju and talk with her. He tells that he will wait till her return in the outside.

Raju thinks of returning the car also and tells the driver to go straight to the village president house. The hired goons of liquor shop owner Parmeswar see that Raju has returned constables at the police station. They follow her and see that she returned the car also to the president. They find it to be the correct time to attack her as she is without vehicle and protection and only the old man is accompanying her. They do not see the person following Raju from behind on a scooter. So they get prepared for attacking her and take an acid bottle with its lid removed.

The attackers move from their hiding and follow Raju on a motorcycle, with the back sitting person holding the acid bottle ready to pour on Raju. Mallesh who was coming from behind on scooter sees the acid bottle and shouts loudly warning Raju to run from the attackers. Then Raju witnesses the attackers coming from behind and begins running and crying loudly. Viren, who was waiting for Raju, hears the shouts and finds that Raju is in danger. He comes running to her and while the attacker was hitting the bottle at Raju, he holds her and pushes her aside. The bottle falls on Viren's back and the acid spills over his back and shoulder and he shouts wildly with the burns and pain while Raju watches him speechless.

She gets terribly shocked at his sudden appearance, his pushing her aside and taking the bottle of acid upon his back to save her. All this happened in a fraction of the second and she stood still and motionless watching his extending of hand towards her in utter pain and with a satisfaction of saving her and then falling unconscious unable to bear the pain. Meanwhile, Mallesh and Viren's other bodyguards take him immediately to the village Government Hospital and Raju becomes dumb and unresponsive and loses senses. Her mother and others take her inside. But she got so serious a shock that she is unable to hear or respond to anybody and goes into coma.
